Droopy, Mick Q What do you remember about your Kartiers debut? I scored in a reserve game against Stamford Bridge away, and who could forget Dave Winspear, Like Singhy he mysteriously never showered. Q Any games in particular stand out from your time at the club? Scoring so many hat-tricks at the highest level its difficult. But Duncombe Park in the cup was a great comeback. Riding 40 miles home in the rain and Boggys sun roof falling out was another fond memory of the day Q Best moment? Feeling important, winding Luke up. Listening to Luke's laugh Q Worst moment? Listening to Luke's laugh, it got annoying after a while. And not being good enough Q Did you ever go on the legendary tour of Scarborough and if so what are your memories of those tours? It was my responsibility to wash the kit on one tour and I washed it the night before and it was still wet through on Saturday morning, so we dangled it all out of the bus. On the way we overtook a caravan and startled the driver so much that his caravan careered out of control and slam dunked itself on its side. I remember staying in on the Saturday night. I watched the Mike Tyson story on BBC2 and sauntered out at about 9pm for a pizza and then back up to my room. I remember jizzing on Dave Bramleys pillow that night. Next day, we met doctor death and bruce's wig got caught in the overhead fan and nearly killed him Q Who was the best player you played with and against during your time with Kartiers?Russell Seagraves was the best crosser of a ball. I respected Willys courage and general dirty bastarditus, Luke was the best header of a ball although he squealed like a pig when he did head it. Mark Rowden for me. Q Who was the best player you played with during your whole career? see above Q Who was the best player you played against during your whole career? Opposition tended to annoy me, hate everyone Q What were the highlights of your Kartiers career? Hog Moor Q What ground(s) did you most enjoy playing at during your time at Kartiers? L N E Builders Q And which ground(s) did you least like? Full Sutton Q Who was the best manager you played under (and at which club)? Its got to be Kendo - a giant amongst men (well amongst Emmo and Tottie) Q Who was the biggest influence on your football career? the commmentary of John Motson "Look at that! oh look at that" Q What was the best goal you scored for Kartiers?
Rufforth away - a shimmy and a shammy, so I pushed shammy
away and tucked it into the corner Q What was the best goal you saw another Kartiers player score? Probably Woody against Garforth from the half way line (off his shin like) Q What honours did you win during your career? Div 3 & 2 medals, rear of the year, shower loitering, stinkiest Q You never really left Kartiers more simply drifted away from the club, can you recall your last game and why you stopped playing? I wasn't contributing any more, think it might have been Copmanthorpe away, it was an emotional day - both teams gave me a guard of honour and clapped me off the pitch Q Any regrets? Working shifts mucked my career upQ Do you keep an eye on Kartiers progress / results and if so what do you think?Great to see them doing well, showing those Yorkies who is bossQ Do you ever watch Kartiers now or if not, when was the last time you saw them? I have a lifetime touchline ban that I am fighting against although legally I am bound to silence Q Who were the real characters at Kartiers during your time with the club? Willy, Boggy, Kendo, Lukey was a real .... but I loved him Q Do you have any regrets about your football career? Never got chance to perm my hair, never seeing Singhy naked or being able to reach any of the 653 crosses he delivered my way Q What do you think about being featured on a website?
