Q What was your greatest moment of last season?

Any game I started with Tiny and Luke was enjoyable because they’re two of my best friends and my goal against Aberford Albion was bit special but I think my goal away at Wigginton Grasshoppers meant more to me

Q What was your lowest moment of last season?

Not winning the 'Player of the Year' Award    

Q What do you aim to achieve by this seasons end?

I don’t like to think that far ahead 

Q Could you tell www.kartiersfc.co.uk which soccerette is your favourite, and why?

Whichever owns a pair of skinny white jeans, a trilby and can sing the 1^st line of 'She is Love' by Oasis

Q You haven’t played for this club for along time, when was your debut for Kartiers and can you tell us about it? 

Was against Gypsy Moth 2 seasons ago in a friendly (2005). I initially came down training with Tiny and had never played Saturday football before but he was a bit 50/50 bout playing so I stopped training because I didn’t know anyone. Then Kendo phoned me and said stop being a wetter, so I had a match and held my own

Q Who in the first team dressing room is the worst dressed player on matchdays?

Don’t get me started. Looks like there’s a sale on at the Selby Matalan most weeks. Come through to York lads, there’s more to clothes shopping than JJB. No offence of course

Q Are you superstitious? Do you have any routines on matchdays you do in order to play so consistently?

I like to be last out of the changing rooms but to be honest that’s more laziness than superstitious

Q Any predictions for next season?

I don’t like to make predictions. If you take each game as it comes and have a positive attitude and play your best you can come off the pitch content with your performance

Q If you were stuck on an island and had to take one of the first teams’ girlfriend/wife with you, whose girlfriend/wife would you take?

Probably Liam’s mum

Q When was the last time you scored for Kartiers?

Scored twice on last game of season. Penalty and a tap in. Braithwaite set me up perfectly for my hat-trick but I fluffed it

Q Funniest moment at Kartiers?

Singing 'Shakira! Shakira!' every 5 minutes

Danny getting changed like superman most weeks is quite funny. Don’t know how he does it. I think he turns up with the kit on underneath

Ryan’s face when Matt Cooper got player of year was a picture, then it ended up on the internet for all to see. Immense

 Q Any words for your team-mates before the new season?

My favourite quote is - Act as if you cannot fail. Confidence breeds success
